When you respond to the Quarterly Situation/ Question below, your insights will be posted within 24-48 hours of receipt.

By design there is a structure and a plan to PBLs, however, seldom do PBLs run tightly to a script.  More often it is necessary to make adjustments as the PBL process is unfolding.

Current Question  How have you dealt with "curve balls" that arise from:

  • The nature of authentic work on which the PBL is centered,
  • Needs of the community or stakeholders engaged in the the PBL, and/or
  • Manifestations of student voice and choice?

Twice a year we post Creation Challenges. As a starting point, we provide an overview/ topic, links to supporting materials, and a Project/Assessment Unpacked with suggested criteria. Your challenge is to create engaging, rubric-anchored Deeper Learning from this starting point, then share it here. Participants will have their work showcased on the Home Page of Deeper Learning Pavilion.

Here's a link to the Current Challenge. Good Luck!
